Old Providence& Santa Catalina have small but beautiful beaches all easily accessible.

Fresh water bay

To this bay arrive tributaries of fresh water coming from the highest parts of the island. Its small beach is surrounded by vegetation and the sand is of volcanic origin, gray and fine. In this sector, most tourist services are concentrated: restaurants, bars, craft shops, diving schools, car rentals, travel agencies that offer tours by land and sea. Many tourists enjoy the benefits of the Sweet Water Bay, the tranquility and the ease to prepare and amazing experience.

South West Bay

In the Southwestern Bay you will find the largest beach on the island of Providence, its sand is coral, fine and white. In its surroundings there are restaurants, hotels, diving schools and you can share and learn more about the artisanal fishing that the islanders exercise. On Saturday, the bay becomes the stage for one of the activities of the raizal culture, the horse race.

Manchineel Bay

Its name is due to the number of Manchineel trees that give a small highly toxic fruit, so its consumption should be avoided. In this beautiful bay you will find one of the busiest beaches of Providence. It is perfect for beach sports such as volleyball, it also has typical food restaurants and bars with live music.

Almond Bay

In the surroundings of the sector of Providence known as Camp is located Almond Bay. The entrance to the path leading to the beach is marked with a huge octopus. It is a small beach, but unlike the others, the sea that comes to it brings good swell.

Fort Beach

In Santa Catalina, on the way to the head of Morgan, there is one of the most beautiful beaches in Colombia. It is small and shaded until late afternoon, but it is also the starting point of a natural aquarium. In its surroundings there are caves and caverns, and in its sea you can see a variety of fish. It is the ideal place for snorkeling.
